A new year unfolds a new path for the Bangkok International Gift + Bangkok International Houseware artistically and logistically. 2010 sees the dual fair begin a new chapter with a new theme at a new location. Paying homage to their roots, BIG+BIH present Soul & Style of the Orient.
Every April and October, the Department of Export Promotion (DEP) under the Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government brings you BIG+BIH. Over a decade of reinventing themselves and reaching new heights in many areas, Southeast Asia’s most prominent gift and houseware trade shows move forward and shine on. Moving the show to the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in the Bang Na district means staging the back-to-back event at the winner of Global UFI Operations Award 2007 and one of the top five exhibition and convention centers (CEI Magazine, Asia Pacific). BIG+BIH will enjoy the world-class, state-of-the-art facilities and the comprehensive services that are best provided with the famous Thai warmth and hospitality at this new venue.
Taking artistic cues from a long history of cultural heritage, the designs this year echo the Asian themes with contemporary flavors. Highlighting the unique character of the Eastern philosophy in art, world-renowned craftsmanship and the use of local materials, goods on display at both fairs exude true soul and style of the Orient. As always BIG + BIH feature a long list of products and services ranging from home decorative items, household products, handicrafts, artificial flowers and plants, Christmas decorative items, candles and spa products to home textiles, stationery, toys and games, small electrical appliances, and much more.

There will be a list of privileges for international buyers who attend the fairs during trade days (20-23 April). Simply go through Fast Track immigration line once you enter Suvarnabhumi Airport and look for BIG+BIH counter. There will be organizers' staff to provide you with free shuttle bus to the fairs and official hotels, as well as a booklet containing useful vouchers that will make your visit even more rewarding.
Visitors on trade days is recommended to pre-register at www.bigandbih.com.
